GATINEAU, QC. – Media are invited to attend the Vintage Wings of Canada press conference Friday, 15 April at 2:00 p.m. for the official announcement of the 2011 “Wings over Gatineau” Air Show.
Chris Hadfield, Canadian Space Agency astronaut and member of the Vintage Wings Board of Directors, will address the media and provide details about the air show scheduled for Saturday, 17 September.
Mr. Hadfield will be joined by City of Gatineau Mayor Marc Bureau and Gaston Cloutier, Director General of the Gatineau-Ottawa Airport Executive, to present their partnership and involvement with this year’s air show.

The “Wings over Gatineau” air show will feature the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. In conjunction with the air show, the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will host their second annual Canadian convention and fly-in 16 -18 September.
