One of only two flying examples of the Fairey Swordfish in the world made its first flight at Gatineau, Quebec July 26 2011 after a five year restoration. The Swordfish is part of a collection of 20 classic aircraft at Vintage Wings of Canada that fly or are being restored to fly in commemoration of important events and individuals in Canadian aviation history.
Congratulation to all those who help to make the stringbag back alive.
