Wings Over Gatineau smashes record attendance

This is by far the most enjoyable part of the air show wrap-up, bragging about how wonderfully successful the weekend was. But this time, we have the statistics to back it up.

With the aid of technology, Vintage Wings was able to calculate the number of spectators who walked through our gates Saturday for the fall air show.  A total of 22,000 people visited Vintage Wings and the Gatineau-Ottawa Executive Airport.
Not a guesstimate, not a hunch; these are real numbers.

And all 22,000 of us were treated to one phenomenal show. Blue skies, zero winds, warm temperatures and pretty planes. What more can you ask for? But the real question is, how do we top that next year? Well, I guess we do it all over again, and again.

Also enjoyable to the post-show report is showcasing the stunning photography of all those aviation journalist who visited the show. See for yourself…
